Easy Garlic Rosemary Rolls

I love a good cheat recipe that is easy to make but makes it seem like you spent hours in the kitchen! These dinner rolls are part of a regular rotation in our home, and are so easy! The whole family loves them. They use a pre-made frozen dinner roll and ingredients you likely already have in your kitchen. This is a great way to elevate the taste of store-bought rolls. I’ve taken these dinner rolls to several family holiday dinners and everyone always raves about them!

Let’s get to it!

I start by spraying a 9 inch round pan with cooking spray, and placing frozen rolls in pan. Let them rise at room temperature from approximately 6 hours.

Once the rolls have adequately risen, I sautee 2 tsp minced garlic in 1/4 cup of butter until just fragrant. Brush the minced garlic and melted butter on top of rolls. Save some of the melted butter for after the rolls bake.

Bake the rolls at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes, according to package instructions. Remove rolls from oven, top with more melted butter, and sprinkle with course sea salt and rosemary. Enjoy!

Ingredients

-Frozen dinner rolls (I use Rhodes brand)

-1/4 cup butter

-2 tsp minced garlic

-course salt

-rosemary

Instructions

  1. Spray 9 inch pan with nonstick cook spray. Place rolls in pan and let rise for approximately 6 hours.
  2. Preheat oven to 350.
  3. Melt butter in small saucepan, add in minced garlic. Sautee until garlic is fragrant.
  4. Prior to baking, brush rolls with melted butter and minced garlic. Reserve some of the butter for after rolls bake
  5. Bake rolls 10-15 minutes, according to package instructions.
  6. Remove rolls form oven, brush remaining butter and garlic on top of rolls.
  7. Sprinkle rolls with course salt and rosemary. Enjoy!
