I LOVE M&M cookies, but I also love a dessert that comes together in one bowl, takes five minutes to whip up, and doesn’t require me babysitting the oven while swapping out cookie sheets. M&M cookie bars have entered the chat!
These M&M Cookie bars are soft, chewy, and filled with M&Ms and mini chocolate chips (optional, but highly suggested)! They’re inspired by the classic M&M cookie which is always a favorite – you can find my M&M Cookie Recipe here!
These cookie bars bake in an 8×8 pan that you can cover with foil to save for later, or cut cookie bars and store in an airtight container or bag for several days *but they won’t last that long! You can freeze these cookie bars after baking if you want to save for later!
Let’s get to baking!
In a microwave safe mixing bowl, microwave butter until just melted. Or you can melt this stovetop. Let the butter cool for 10 minutes at room temperature. While butter is cooling, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 8×8 baking pan with non-stick cooking spray
Combine sugars into mixing bowl. Mix with butter until combined.
Add in eggs and vanilla extract, mix until combined.
Next, add in flour and mix until just combined
Last, Fold in M&Ms and mini chocolate chips
Pour M&M cookie bar batter into greased baking sheet. Bake for 22 minutes.
Allow to cool. Slice, enjoy!
As always, I love to hear from you! Please let me know if you give this recipe a try. I can’t wait to hear how much you love it!
