Strawberry Swirl Cake Mix Blossoms- Easy Recipe!

Ingredients

    • Boxed white cake mix

    • 1/2 cup salted butter, melted

    • 2 eggs

    • Strawberry flavoring

    • a few drops of Pink food dye

    • Sprinkling sugar

    • Hershey’s Pink Cookies & Creme Hearts

Instructions

    • Melt butter in microwave-safe bowl. Mix cake mix and eggs into melted butter. Mix until combined.

    • Divide the dough in half and place half in a separate bowl.

    • Chill dough for 15 min. If you skip this step your cookie dough will be too sticky to work with in step 6! While dough is chilling, preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    • You can do this next step however you please – but roll some strawberry dough with the plain cookie dough for each cookie. I did this by scooping each cookie dough out, diving each scoop in half, then combining 1/2 scoop of each flavor dough together. Break the dough up and press it back together to make a nice swirl with the different doughs.

    • Roll each dough ball in sprinkling sugar.

    • Place cookies on cookie sheet and bake for 8-9 minutes. After pulling them from the oven immediately top each cookie with a chocolate heart. Allow to cool, then enjoy!
