Who doesn’t love a good peach cobbler or crisp? This summer peach crisp is the perfect recipe to use up those fresh summer peaches that are perfectly in season right now. This summer peach crisp features sweet peaches and a crispy oat streusel topping. Top it with vanilla ice cream to complete this summertime dessert staple!
I also love creating simple recipes that use some of my family’s favorite fruits. Also, if you haven’t already, be sure to check out my Cinnamon Apples recipe that also comes together so easily!
This peach crisp is super simple, and comes together with simple ingredients that you likely have in your pantry! It uses fresh peaches which are in abundance this time of year (and on sale! win/win!)
You can store this peach crisp in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. When you’re ready to enjoy it again simply microwave to warm it up again. Trust me when I say this dessert is so much better if eaten when warm!
Yes. Yes. Yes. You can and you should!
Ok enough of that, let’s get to baking!
3. You can use the same mixing bowl, and combined flour, oats, cinnamon & brown sugar. Pour oat mixture over peaches in baking dish.
4. Pour melted butter evenly over peach crisp.
5. Bake your summer peach crisp in the oven at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Peach crisp is done when the top is light, golden brown and edges are bubbly with peach filling.
6. Enjoy!
As always, let me know what you think if you give it a try!
